Rodney Fitch fuels Q8 identity

RODNEY FITCH has created an identity for a chain of unmanned petrol stations for Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8).

The prototype F24 outlet is trialing in Denmark, where 30 per cent of the petrol market is through unstaffed sites and Q8 has a 17 per cent market share.

The concept developed by Rodney Fitch features brightly-coloured go-faster strips within a light, aerodynamic canopy. Q8 retail co-ordinator Ross Baker says: “We wanted a new brand of petrol retail chain to appeal to young motorists demanding fast service and cheaper fuel.”

The company will be evaluating the performance of the prototype outlet before deciding on future plans for the brand.
