Don’t bank onvocation

New companies can use unusual stunts to publicise themselves, but the press launch of, the new job website for finance and banking, appeared to lose the plot somewhat.

Hosted at the Great Eastern Hotel in central London, the event began with drinks and a strange mixture of snacks, followed by a screening of the new film about New York finance, Boiler Room.

The only mention of the new website was an announcement by an actor wearing a bowler hat who was welcoming guests. Perhaps the site should be renamed, to reflect the peculiar attitude towards its work.
