Pret is ready to refurbish

Pret A Manger is refurbishing a number of its older outlets as part of a modernisation programme by incumbent design consultancy The Formation.

Most of the 20 shops being updated will be in London, though sites in Folkestone and Bicester are also due for improvement. “The refurbishments are purely cosmetic and certainly not a change of brand image”, says a Pret A Manger spokeswoman.

Meanwhile, several new outlets have opened recently, including the company’s first Scottish shop in Glasgow. Four further Glasgow venues are planned plus two in Edinburgh. Three London stores will be opening next month.
