Global drinks giant Diageo launches revamped Smirnoff packaging,emphasising the brand’s Russian heritage, in the US next week. Designed by Landor Associates’ New York and London offices (DW 12 June), the work will roll out in Britain from March 2004.
The redesign aims to attract “new, younger and more culturally diverse audiences” to the 118-year-old magazine, while avoiding confusion with The Times newspaper.
