Russell Sage designs Hospital Club bedrooms
Russell Sage Studio has designed 15 new bedrooms that are opening this month at London’s Hospital Club.
The consultancy has been working on interiors designs for the club for several years, having previously worked on projects including the second-floor lounge and the entire fourth floor.
Each of the 15 rooms has a bespoke design and they are intended to be “a creative hub from morning to night”, according to the Hospital Club.
The rooms feature a material palette of leathers, velvets, warm woods and stained glass. The Hospital Club says they also have “inspiring” turndown cards, brain power tool-kits by the School of Life and an “erotic” minibar by Holloway Smith Noir.
Each of the new rooms feature works by emerging artists and designers, including Alyson Mowat’s bespoke terrarium house plants and Rick Guest’s set of portraits of Royal Ballet performers.
The corridors have works from more established artists, including Norman Seeff’s portraits of some of the biggest names in music, art, and showbiz.
