Creative Action for pre-pay logo

Creative Action Design Consultants is creating the brand identity for the latest pre-pay mobile phone system, called E-pay, which goes on general release in November.

E-pay will offer electronic transfer of payment vouchers, enabling customers to access their accounts quickly and easily. The system will initially operate on a top-up voucher scheme, by the use of in-store terminals.

Creative Action managing director Ian Silverstein says: “The brand image is simple, bold and distinct. The purple of the E-pay sign and bold white typography allow the logo to stand out from other major credit card or swipe card services. As well as the unmistakable bold letter, the logo also incorporates four wavy lines of type, [which are] suggestive of sound waves.”

E-pay director John Gardner believes the new identity will “create high impact with customers. The mobile phone market has exploded with the introduction of pre-paid phones. However this dramatic growth has made the existing voucher distribution system inefficient, which E-pay is designed to overcome”.
