Dancers feature heavily in Paper White’s design for IT consultancy giant Logica’s marketing literature. The London group was briefed to humanise the technical nature of the IT sector, while breaking down Logica’s literature into sections which could either stand alone or in a group. ‘We have given the company a human face,’ says Paper White designer Peter Thompson, ‘It was extremely corporate.’ Logica’s identity colours of yellow, black and silver have been retained in each section. Meanwhile, the L from the logo has been incorporated as a strong feature. To be distributed to Logica’s 3900 staff in 18 countries, Paper White also worked on French and Dutch translations of the literature.

Logica is a 250m company which deals with IT, systems integration and software.

A pineapple and grapefruit basking on a Hawaiian beach feature on the label for a limited edition summer ‘alco-pop’ being launched by Bass. Graphics for Hooper’s Hoola, the pineapple and grapefruit variant of Hooper’s Hooch, have been created by Design Bridge. According to Design Bridge senior designer Andy A’Court, the graphics ‘convey a summer mood by featuring a tropical evening on a Hawaiian beach’, with vivid colours reinforcing the drink’s informal positioning’. The launch this month includes a poster campaign.
