Russell Hobbs launches eye-catching kettle

Domestic appliance manufacturer Russell Hobbs has launched a ThermoColor Kettles range with colour changing properties. As water boils one model changes from black to white, one from dark green to lime green and one from blue to pink. Michael Webber, chief executive of Russell Hobbs holding company Pifco, says it is difficult to say which model will prove the most popular, adding ‘it’s an exciting opportunity to bring this unique colour change technology into the market’. Additional features include a rapid boil and scale resistant element. All kettle technology and design, including packaging and branding, has been carried out by the in-house design team.
