Mobospace, created by BDG McColl Workplace, comprises a set of interacting, movable pods with interchangeable walls, set around a central core. The core houses a reception area, with an information point and Internet link. Each pod has its own contrasting colour scheme to help visually impaired people identify individual areas and signs are in Braille. The aim is that the advice, training and social facility is run primarily by disabled people for both disabled and able-bodied users in a bid to widen employment opportunities.
The new identity is built around the notion of “Welsh spirit” and features an updated dragon design inspired by “chiselled rock and slate”.
