Skidmore ready to make waves

It may be time for London consultancy Skidmore Turnbull Design to get a bigger office.

Creative director Mike Skidmore’s ego is expanding faster than your average prosperous designer’s waistband.

Skidmore – who we hope doesn’t grow into Skidbore – has been asked to become a regular contributor to BBC Radio Wiltshire’s arts and entertainments programmes.

The new media megastar was approached by the station after an exhibition of his artwork, which impressed a presenter.

“I feel this will offer a great opportunity to talk about the link between art and design to a general interest audience,” says Mike.

“We are considering expanding our premises to accommodate Mr Skidmore’s ego,” say his colleagues.
