Get the facts straight before pointing the finger

I write following a news story (DW 16 August) and Mark Pinder’s letter (DW 30 August) which both mentioned Identica in relation to Warwick Conferences.

First, due to a possible conflict of interest, we have never had any involvement with Warwick Conferences. Second, it is a company policy not to pitch for free. I have been one of the most vocal members of the industry to demand an end to free-pitching, so for Identica to go against this would be hypocrisy.

Pinder should get his facts correct before making accusations.
