By Conran name for plan in Japan

Terence Conran’s ten planned restaurants in Japan (DW 23 September) are likely to take the By Conran name, he hinted this week.

By Conran is also the name of his latest range of homewares for Sainsbury’s (DW 7 October). Conran is planning to open one restaurant a year over the next ten years, offering Japanese cuisine in European-influenced interiors by Conran & Partners.
