Seidler takes new position

Former British Council director of brand development Johnnie Seidler has joined management communication consultant People in Business as managing director. The group specialises in improving relationships at work.

Seidler left the British Council last month, as the institution shelved plans for a complete overhaul of its brand (DW 12 March). Prior to that he spent five years consulting on corporate positioning, brand strategies and internal communications with Sampson Tyrrell (now Enterprise IG).

He will be reporting to People in Business chairman Simon Barrow, who says, “Johnnie brings substantial consulting expertise and direct experience of leading a major management change programme in a large organisation.”
