Enterprise IG reshuffles US arm

Following a restructure of its North American operation, Enterprise IG is setting up a core global team of worldwide directors, in a move that sees San Francisco chief executive Carol Bellandi’s role axed with immediate effect.

Bellandi, who headed up the San Francisco office, will not be replaced, though Marcus Greinke, Enterprise IG Germany creative managing director and head of product branding, assumes the new position of managing director fmcg, USA. Greinke reports to US chief executive Scott Lerman.

A ‘core team of four’ is being set up, consisting of Jim Johnson, now Enterprise IG worldwide chairman; Dave Allen, who takes the title Enterprise IG worldwide chief executive; Joy Hamlyn, who becomes Enterprise IG worldwide human resources director; and Roy Powell, worldwide chief operations and chief finance officer, explains Allen.

They will now constitute the Enterprise IG global management team, which will oversee all the group’s work, he says.

According to Allen, the initiative pre-empts the future strengthening of client demand for corporate identity projects.

‘This will help us work across the whole organisation more effectively, now we are starting to see signs of a return to global normality [in the branding market], as global mergers and acquisitions pick up again,’ says Allen.
