ISTD website makes Grade

Grade Design Consultants has revamped the website for the International Society of Typographic Designers, as the organisation moves to restructure and offer a better service to its international members.

The first phase of the new look site, www.istd.org.uk, launches this week and is focused on the provision of clear information.

‘It’s not about whizz-bang graphics,’ says Grade Design creative director Peter Dawson. ‘It’s about content, facts and information, and [being] a resource centre for members, students and journalists.’

The group will start work on phase-two of the development this month, focusing on the site’s membership area. Plans include an interactive discussion forum, an international membership database and a legal advice service.
