Doubts about the future of graves are laid to rest

Ever wandered through a graveyard and wondered what the person buried in front of you was really like?

Well, thanks to a piece of design genius, tombstones fitted with plasma screens and hard drives will soon allow successive generations to view pre-recorded footage of ourselves.

Macs placed inside hollow headstones will one day be powered by your local cemetery’s lighting supply.

Its designer reportedly told New Scientist magazine: ‘It’s true, or my name isn’t Robert Barrows.’
