Original design hard to find in Yellow Pages ?

I was surprised to see the images we created for British Design and Art Direction 1998 lecture series (sunflower, lollipop) used for the “new look” yellow pages covers and internal filler ads.

Both clients have yellow as their corporate colour, but I think the designer of the “new?” look yellow pages should have looked further than their letter box for inspiration.
