Enrol for a week of enlightenment

DesignQuest is an international event for people “interested in creating objects which play with conditioned reality”.

Quite so. But don’t let language put you off. DesignQuest aims to address the foundations on which design was built, and give anyone connected with the industry a chance to stand outside the daily routine and understand exactly what, why and how.

It is an intensive seven-day residential event and participants are encouraged to bypass or dissolve the “tacit infrastructure of contemporary design, to close the gap between experience and reflection and experiment with two- and three-dimensional prototypes”.

Enlightenment will come about from 20 to 27 July at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London. The number of participants is limited to 30. Contact Cris de Groot on 0121-331 5820.
