Six shortlisted for Stirling Prize

Six buildings, including Manchester’s Imperial War Museum North and The Spire in Dublin, have been shortlisted for the £20 000 Stirling Prize. Two buildings by Foster and Partners made it on to the list, one of which is the bookmakers’ favourite – 30 St Mary Axe – the London building commonly known as the Gherkin.
