One North East assembles roster for local service projects

One North East is on the search for a roster of design consultancies that will develop public and private sector service projects in the North East for up to four years.

The Regional Development Agency is looking to assemble a panel of service and transformation designers that will work with its subsidiaries and partners, including Dott 07, the first in a ten-year series of regional design biennials.

According to One North East programme manager Claire Byers, the organisation has already implemented several service design projects. It sees design as an ‘effective tool to raise productivity and create a more human-centred, customer-focused’ approach across public and private sector organisations.
