New photographic gallery, Focus exhibits the Focus Gallery Collection until 23 December. Vintage and modern prints by ten photographers including Sam Haskins and Erwin Blumenfeld will be on sale. The exhibition conveys a variety of styles and subject matter demonstrating different printing techniques.

A collection of Jeff Fisher’s flat sculptures Big Paintings will be on show until 29 January 1999. Fisher is the designer of one of the millennium stamps and the series of Bloomsbury Classic Louis de Bernière books, which include Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.

Venue: The Gallery at Pentagram, 11 Needham Road, London W11.

More than 13 artists have provided a set of high-quality digital prints, to be produced in a special 1999 edition of ten only, for the exhibition S@le. The work on display is priced between 50 and 100 and uses the latest high-speed digital print techniques. The exhibition will continue until 20 January 1999.

Forms of Change: Ethnic Design from Southern Africa shows in Rotterdam until 25 April 1999. Items on display are influenced by the region’s turbulent history and the availability of raw materials and demonstrate how the people of Southern Africa have adapted to change.
