Simon Gore takes up challenge of building on ‘winning formula’ as incoming Lewis Moberly MD

Lewis Moberly has appointed Simon Gore as managing director, while co-founder Robert Moberly is to become chairman.

Gore (pictured) joined Lewis Moberly in September as development director. He previously ran Windsor-based marketing consultancy Viability, but says he was ’keen to get back into the cut-and-thrust of design consultancy life and manage a team of people’.

He adds, ’My role is to build on a winning formula and introduce it to new clients in need of brand elevation and growth.’

Gore will work with creative director Mary Lewis and Moberly, managing a team of 25 full-time staff.

Prior to running Viability, Gore was joint managing director and client services director at Vibrandt (now 1HQ).

He also previously worked for the Added Value Group, spending three years as planning director of its design arm Brown Inc, and has also held positions as a marketer for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and Paramount Pictures.

Lewis Moberly recently expanded its team with two new appointments, including senior designer Hamish Campbell, previously from Identica, and account director Jo Chekroun, who joined from G2.
