New York’s Lee Hunt Associates has repositioned and redesigned the only television sampler channel in the US, tv! Network – now known as Intro Television. The channel showcases blocks of programmes from more than 30 new and emerging cable networks.
The group had to come up with a brand for a wide variety of programming and developed the tag line: “A world of networks on one channel”.
While the group was responsible for the channel’s strategy, it supervised its graphics arm Melon Design Worldwide to create the launch kit and promotional items as well as the broadcast graphics.
Zucker Design in Massachusetts was subcontracted by LHA to design 70 five-second network identities using familiar round objects such as a basketball.
