London design group Glazer has carried out a pro bono project for St John’s Hospice, to help with its promotional and fund-raising activities.
The consultancy has developed a Smile for St John’s campaign, featuring a smile to communicate the positive outlook of the hospice. Patients are provided with care at St John’s regardless of their ability to pay for it.
Celebrities will help the campaign by drawing their own smiles; the generic version will feature on postcards and posters. “Glazer’s solution… gives the campaignability and flexibility we need”, says St John’s director of fundraising Nigel Harding.
“We enjoyed the challenge of helping the hospice raise its profile,” says Glazer creative director David Jones.
