New Ideo president’s sword is double-edged

Could it be that Ideo’s Tim Brown leads a double life as Antipodean screen tough guy Russell Crowe? If this is the case he is certainly leading a busy life.

Brown, who becomes president of product design group Ideo on August 1 (DW 12 May), was reportedly seen on-screen in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, in which he runs around a colosseum killing both Bengali tigers and tyrannical Romans.

Previously, our action hero also allegedly appeared as a xenophobic skinhead in Romper Stomper, a hard-nosed detective in American Tabloid and an anti-tobacco company crusader in The Insider.

And he managed all of this while simultaneously running the Ideo offices in San Francisco and Europe.
