Eye II Eye and Triangle set to slam world record

People do some crazy things to get in the Guinness World Records… now they are even taking to tequila slamming!

Staff from London design consultancy Eye II Eye are partaking in a world record attempt on 26 November, together with fellow employees at the Triangle Group, to celebrate Triangle’s new commercial for Guinness World Records’ millennium edition.

‘We’re attempting to break the record for the longest tequila slamming Mexican wave – it’s currently 83 people, but we’re trying for at least 130,’ explains Eye II Eye managing director Andréa Thompson.

But she stresses that the event at Bar Madrid in London’s Winsley Street is ‘not about individuals drinking large quantities of alcohol’. Those taking part will get just one shot.

‘We’ll have some practice runs with water,’ she adds.
