BBC Broadcast has designed a trail to promote Light Fantastic, a BBC Four factual series exploring all aspects of light. The sequence uses a special time-slice technique to create a ‘cinematic journey’ showing how light works within the solar system, nature, paintings and historical monuments. Devices such as light bulbs, sparklers and fairy lights were used to create special effects for the ad. The trail will be broadcast until the series starts on 1 December.
