New “urban” poster design competition worth £10,000 launches in London
Organised by file sharing service Loop.gl, London Loop will see work by designers and other creatives displayed in public spaces all over the city.
A new poster competition has been launched by file sharing company Loop.gl, which will see designers’ artworks go on display across the capital.
London Loop is a new competition from the newly launched file sharing service, and allows designers and artists to submit work to be displayed as part of an urban art exhibition taking place all over London.
From 1 March 2018, entrants will be able to submit work to the London Loop online gallery. Winners will be chosen by a public vote, and will appear on 72 poster sites located in areas such as Soho and Shoreditch the day after each vote – being seen by up to 300 million people, according to Loop.gl.
£10,000 prize
The submission voted the best overall by the public and a panel of judges will win a £10,000 prize, while the winners of each category will receive £1,000 each.
Entries close on 31 March, and an awards ceremony announcing the winner will take place in London on 9 May 2018.
