Milton says judge the magazine by its cover

A picture tells a thousand words, but what sort of picture should you send to your favourite magazine along with your press release?

According to the recently published and modestly designed pocketbook Do your own PR, by Richard Milton, ‘one glance at the bookstall’ is enough to show you ‘the importance of the picture in today’s publications’.

The problem is, says Milton, that the pictures are virtually always of ‘handsome guys’ and ‘beautiful girls’. Mr Milton obviously doesn’t read Design Week then. Wonder what he does read?
