Eero Kankainen, a Royal College of Art MA graduate in vehicle design, has won the first Pininfarina Award. The award, inaugurated by the Royal Society of Arts’ Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry, recognises excellence in the work of young designers. The subject of the 2003 award is automotive design.
Developed by Vitamin London, the typeface uses letterforms taken from protest posters found at Black Lives Matter demonstrations.
