London design consultancy Still Waters Run Deep has designed the latest report published by management consultancy McKinsey & Company. The 102-page publication features case studies on how broadband technology can improve business.
The information is technical and lengthy and had to be brought to life, says Still Waters creative and managing director Anita Brightley-Hodges.
The group commissioned illustrators to lighten the text, and to persuade key industry players to contribute articles. A selection of well-known photographers was chosen to take photographs of the contributors.
“This approach works well, because people enjoy being flattered,” says Brightley-Hodges. “The report showcases McKinsey success stories and will be used by the company as a marketing tool – it therefore had to work hard.”
McKinsey’s report, Future Intelligence 1: Broadband Changes Everything, launches next week.
