Comical scenes at St Martins

Graphic designers labouring endlessly on annual reports when they really just want to do something silly, or sillier, now have the perfect opportunity.

The London Institute is again running its Produce Your Own Comic weekly classes.

The first run of the ten-week course earlier this year culminated in the students producing a comic called Room 502.

The course includes sessions on writing, drawing and publishing, complete with practical demonstrations. Taught by Steve Edgell, a former editor at Fleetway and Titan Books, the next course starts on 7 October.
