Improve your skills with a Design Week training course

If you want business management training or want to learn new design skills we’ve got you covered with dozens of course options and flexible learning formats.

With Design Week’s new training courses you can learn how to use the latest Adobe products, pick up specialist skills such as designing for VR or simply learn how to manage your business better.

You’ve spoken to us and told us that you want to know how to do your job better so we’re providing a suite of new training courses to help you do just that.

We’ve split courses into eight categories: Adobe; CAD/BIM; Design; Business Courses; Web; Video; Marketing Courses; and 3D/VR/Games. Within these you can find all sorts of unique training offerings.

Full range of Adobe courses

You can learn in stages too. We offer training in the full suite of Adobe programs including the staples of a designers toolbox such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

If you pick any one of these, like Illustrator for example, you can take the Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, and Adobe Certified Expert courses as well as Zero to Hero and Ultimate Mastery.

The illustrator: Ultimate Mastery course helps you pick up the most advanced features of the program as well as time-saving tips and tricks to help with speed and competency.

Run your business better

If you’re a design business owner, as many of you will be, or if you manage a team you might want to have a look at our business courses, which include How to Pitch, Step up to Management and Leadership, and Introduction to Agile Project Management.

Our training partner Academy Class says the Step Up to Management and Leadership course is for “New managers, new leaders, or seasoned managers especially in organisations who recognise the need for change and new thinking in a fast moving world.

“Managers with teams that are newly formed/merged, disenchanted or where there’s low morale or high staff turnover benefit hugely from this course. It’s an investment of your time that you’ll find extremely worth while.”

New skills such as VR

Maybe you’re thinking about picking up skills in an area that’s completely new to you. Our 3D/VR/Games courses have proved popular. It’s worth having a look within this category as there are some targeted courses such as HoloLens101, Interior Designer Creative License at Silver and Gold levels, plus VR programs such as Unity 3D for VR and Virtual Reality Training Bootcamp.

The Virtual Reality Bootcamp aims to give you the skills you need to understand the Unity 3d program so that you can create games and software that are market ready.  This four-week course can take you from beginner to accomplished in four weeks.

If you choose to train with us, you’ll be able to learn in stages at your own pace, choosing different training options and adjusting difficulty levels. While some of the courses are on-line others are in the classroom and all courses come with supporting material, certification and an 18-month free course retake option.
