Deep Pan ‘in-house’

The renaming and revamping of the Deep Pan Pizza chain is likely to be carried out in-house. The chain’s owner City Centre Restaurants plans to kill off the brand and replace it with an upmarket pizza chain.

City Centre commercial director Gavin Thomas says no decision has been made regarding the renaming or revamping, but the design will probably take place in-house.

Of the 89 existing Deep Pan Pizza outlets, 35 will be retained under the new name.
