As you pointed out in Design Week (DW 19 April), Stocks Austin Sice is working with games manufacturers and publishers to control the Wireplay brand mark on all Wireplay-compatible games as well as developing promotional merchandising.
Wireplay is a revolutionary move for BT, allowing people to play computer games against each other on the BT network in real time. Ensuring that people recognise their software is Wireplay compatible is an important element of BT’s strategy.
With that in mind, and to avoid any confusion, I would like to point out that the image used in the article is not the Wireplay brand mark. It is an illustration from the CD-ROM trial pack.
