Tantrum Tamer stops kids going off their trolley

Tesco is playing with the idea of a Tantrum Tamer trolley to placate all those supermarket screamers. The trolley, to be designed by manufacturer Wanzl, will have an electronic screen attached to the handle with a seat at the back.

The screens, which are intended to relieve boredom-related tantrums caused by indecisive parents on long shopping trips, will give kids the chance to play games and watch DVDs. ‘The supermarket can actually be a great place for children to learn all sorts of new things,’ a spokesman for the retailer insists.
