London calling for Samsung

Samsung, the Korean manufacturer of electronic consumer products, is to open a new European design centre in London within two months.

The facility will replace the group’s former UK design office, which closed two years ago because of the recession in Asia.

Samsung has re-recruited a number of key staff members from its previous operation to run the new office.
