Virgin Our Price has launched a direct selling company called Virgin Entertainment Direct. The service will used ‘magalogues – a hybrid of magazine and catalogue’ to sell Virgin products, says a VED spokeswoman.
Design for the first – called Compass – is by Blue Evolution. The second – called Crash, Bang, Wallop and aimed at young gay men – is being designed in-house at Chronos Group, publisher of The Pink Paper. Eight more sub-brands, targeting different market sectors, are planned.
