Granada takes a look at Harry Ramsden’s

International fish and chips chain Harry Ramsden’s has confirmed that it is in talks with hotel and media group Granada about a takeover deal. The company is valued at £20m.

There are currently eight Harry Ramsden’s kiosks and three restaurants operating at Granada service stations. In total the chain has 65 UK sites and eight international ones.

Granada is said to be considering rolling the restaurant out across all of its 460 service stations if a takeover is agreed.
