JHP cooks up airport eatery – Spanish style

JHP Design has created the graphic identity and communication strategy for Terra Cotta, an eatery opening in Barcelona Airport at the end of the month.

Terra Cotta is owned by The Eat Out Group, the catering arm of Spanish food company Agrolimen. JHP has worked on the integration of the concept with Agrolimen’s three existing food concepts in the airport – Pans & Company, Pastafiore and Fresh & Ready.

‘They wanted a new restaurant concept based on food from across the Mediterranean,’ says JHP joint managing director Steve Collis, who approached the group speculatively in May this year.

‘The restaurant will have a family-run, home food feel, employing earthy tones and finishes,’ he adds.

Agrolimen plans to extend its brands in Spain and beyond, says Collis. He declines to say whether JHP is working on additional projects.
