‘Well, apart from the obvious Marks & Spencer, how about: David Beckham, ditch the wife, pawn the diamond studs, laser-off the tattoos, go shopping at Matalan and keep your eye on the ball… Sir Cliff, get a wife. Or finally, The Sun goes broadsheet – loads more coverage, especially on page three; the headline would read: “The Sun just got brighter”.’

‘The Bank of England. It plays a much greater role in our everyday lives now, although it still carries the image of a group of ageing male bankers seated in leather chairs. As an organisation it should be perceived as more progressive and as a group of people they have the opportunity to be seen as the careful hand guiding our economy in close consultation with the Government. The CBI has made great headway to improve its image as a champion of business, the Bank of England should follow suit and contemporise its position as our financial guiding light.’
