G3 UK communicates Echo brand

Communications solutions provider Echo Communications will launch a refreshed identity and corporate brochure, designed by G3 UK for a fee of about £50 000, this week.

The identity has been applied to all communications including a website, stationery, merchandise and signage. The creation of the brochure was also a key focus of the project, says G3 UK client services director Piers Bracher.

‘The visual collateral in the marketplace is all very similar and we needed to set Echo apart from the competition. The company has a target market of managing directors and IT managers and the identity we have created appeals to both groups,’ according to Bracher.

The identity has retained the core blue and green of the original marque, last designed in 1995, but presented them in a ‘fresher’ style.

‘The design is led by the strapline “making sense of voice and data communications”. Visual icons represent the [human] senses such as sight, hearing and touch which we translated into the brand values of the company. These values include a hands-on philosophy, vision, listening to clients’ needs and training skills,’ says Bracher.
