MRM Meteorite has designed Dulux’s new personalised online service, which gives interior design consultation to people redecorating their homes.
The Amazing Space site offers “affordable, accessible and professional” interior design services, including video consultation.
Users are invited to fill in a questionnaire, select images which give an indication of taste and budget, and upload images of the room being redecorated.
30-minute video consultation
A “Dulux Design Expert” will then use this information to create a style guide, which they can discuss with the homeowner over a 30-minute video consultation.
After this the user then receives a refined style-guide, summary of the room’s redesign, a floor-plan with a 3D room visualisation and an “interactive shopping list,” which links up with affiliates including John Lewis, Made.com, Dunelm, Graham and Green.
Connecting homeowners with the Dulux brand
MRM Meteorite says it came up with the proposition and has worked on the strategy and research of the service, (which starts from £75) as well its user experience, interface and development.
Debbie Smith, CEO at MRM Meteorite “As well as facilitating a human connection between everyday people and the Dulux brand, Amazing Space is a convenient service that offers something that hasn’t been seen before, allowing everyday homeowners affordable advice from high-end interior designers.”
