Fish spawns Unisexy hair products

Independent central London hairdressing salon Fish is launching its own-brand range of unisex hair products, called Fish Unisexy.

The range will be available in larger Boots the Chemists stores and selected department stores nationwide from mid-September.

The packaging and identity are designed in-house by product licencee KMI, which has also designed the Unisexy Fish website, www.unisexybyfish.com. Products will be available via the website.

The 15-strong collection incorporates shampoos, conditioners, finishing and scalp products in bright orange and white colourways with piscine names such as Goldfish, Battered Fish Fingers and Sofishticated.

The Unisexy Fish logo is a bastardisation of traditional male and female figures found on toilet doors to depict the unisex nature of the product.

Founder Paul Burfoot launched the Fish salon in London in 1988.
