Egan quits the RSA for a new challenge

Penny Egan has resigned her position as executive director of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Egan, who spent eight years in the role and 20 years at the RSA, will leave her post at the end of July. According to a statement she plans to ‘rest and reflect on what challenges she would like to take on next’.

An RSA spokeswoman says the organisation is undertaking an executive search to find her replacement.
