Daewoo Cars has opened a new pilot display stand at Sainsbury’s SavaCentre hypermarket in Colney, London, with design by Campbell & Armstrong. The approach is intended to make car buying ‘as convenient and enjoyable as everyday shopping’, says Daewoo’s customer operations director David Gerrans. Campbell & Armstrong’s Michael Fern and Roy Crone were given a brief to create a display area for one car within a 6m2 space. The resulting stand incorporates a reception desk, discussion area and touch-screen interactive unit.
