Germans are on a totally different train of thought

Interbrand ‘wordpaper’ Mr Mars’s Horse has clippety-clopped into earshot again. It turns out the Greek for ‘it’s all Greek to me’ is Chinese – and that goes for the French too.

For Italians it’s all Arabic, but in Germany, if someone doesn’t quite understand you, they’ll say, ‘I only understand “railway station”‘. We hope you feel suitably enlightened.
