Hat-Trick plans out work for housing development

Developer St James Homes this week launches the first of five phases of Hat-Trick Design-created marketing and communications material for its New England-style residential property development, The Hamptons.

The company is turning a 24ha brownfield site in Surrey into flats and houses, surrounded by parkland. For the first phase of work Hat-Trick has created the marketing suite, brochures, signage, website and exhibition material. An identity for the Hamptons was already in place, designed by Phoenix.

Work on phase two of the development kicks off next month.

‘The second phase will have a different look and feel to the first. We aim to continue the theme but add a twist,’ explains Hat-Trick director Gareth Howard.

Hat-Trick has worked closely with urban design and architecture group John Thompson & Partners and urban landscaper Chris Blandford Associates. The former’s work includes all public spaces and input into lighting and street furniture, says director Fred London.
