Design Bridge’s new trophies

Design Bridge has created new trophies for the CGU National Cricket League’s two divisions.

They have been presented to Sussex Sharks and Lancashire Lightening respectively over the past two weekends.

The NCL competition was introduced this year as part of a revamp for the whole game.

Design Bridge’s brief was to create an instantly recognisable icon for the event, reflecting the style of the game.

Design Bridge senior designer Martin Greeves wanted to create trophies ‘which the winning teams would consider an honour to receive. We moved away from the staid cricket-style trophy.’
