Women Talk Real Estate branding looks to raise profile of women in the property industry

Baxter and Bailey has designed the visual identity for the non-profit organisation, which matches female speakers with event organisers.

Baxter and Bailey has created the branding for a new, non-profit organisation called Women Talk Real Estate that aims to improve the visibility of women working in the real estate industry across Europe.

Due to the fact that women currently only represent 14% of speakers at real estate events across the continent, according to Women Talk Real Estate, the charity will develop a database to connect women in the industry with event organisers and media looking for presenters, panellists and spokespeople.

The brand has launched with a database of 150 registered speakers, and plans to increase this number over the coming months and years.

Baxter and Bailey’s branding for the charity aims to support the charity’s mission to better represent and raise the profile of women within the industry, and includes a new visual identity and brand communications.

The identity features a bold, serif typeface that appears in black and all capitals, and a microphone symbol replaces the “O” in women.

A colour palette of aqua and turquoise has been used. The consultancy has also created a series of brand mottos for the charity, including “role model” and “on stage”.

Women Talk Real Estate founder Andrea Carpenter, says: “Visibility matters. For individuals, being higher profile can bring better business opportunities and career progression while for the industry, it challenges stereotypes and increases the number of role models.”

The new identity has now rolled out across digital and physical touchpoints, including the charity’s website and business cards.
